This work explores the boundary between nature and fabrication. At first glance, the hillside appears alive with wildflowers, but closer inspection reveals a landscape built entirely from plastic. And in reality, it’s an upper façade of a Miami storefront. By framing it as a seemingly natural hillside, I play with perception and invite viewers to question what they’re seeing. The work examines how commercial spaces construct idealized versions of nature—vibrant, abundant, and impossible—blurring the line between authenticity and design. It reflects on our growing comfort with manufactured beauty and the ways urban environments simulate the natural world.
