Almost all of Garrett Jay’s wall art on GarrettJay.com is offered in limited quantities as stated for each artwork. For artwork offered as a limited edition, when an edition maximum has been reached, the artwork will be retired (it will no longer be offered for sale). A select few Garrett Jay creations are offered as a One of a Kind which literally means only one will be created and sold.
Please note that prices are subject to change due to labor and material costs. Prices may also increase as demand for a particular limited edition artwork increases leaving fewer available for sale. Open editions are not subject to a limited production. They are typically offered at a lower price than limited edition artwork.
The preservation of wall art is always subject to the environment where they are placed. To avoid color fading or other issues, you shouldn’t expose artwork to direct sunlight or hang near heat sources or hot appliances. While it’s safe to hang our metal wall art in kitchens and bathrooms because it’s produced using very high-quality metal and inks, it best not to subject the art to very high levels of humidity. Also, because glossy metal wall art is subject to scratches it’s best to handle gently with soft gloves.
All of our metal prints, other than the 12"x18" size and 8”x12” proofs, are produced with a premium frame mount on the back so your new art will float about ¾” off the wall. They are easy to hang with the included hardware (a metal cleat, screws and a mini level). The 12"x18" size comes with a box mount. It also floats off the wall and has a hole for a nail for hanging. 8"x12" proofs are without a hanging backing (just the flat metal) and may have slight imperfections in the metal as they are meant to show quality of the image and to represent the true colors.

Most of the time, a basic microfiber cloth is the only thing you’ll need to clean your metal wall art. A simple wipe will remove most dust and fingerprints. Please don’t use anything that is abrasive such as paper towels to clean your prints as they can cause tiny scratches. For more stubborn stains, a little bit of denatured alcohol applied to a microfiber cloth will do the job. Over time, prints can collect dust so it is a good idea to wipe down your prints once in a while to keep them looking their absolute best.
For over 5 years, we’ve been using a photo metal print lab that’s an industry leader in terms of production quality. Their highly skilled craftspeople pay extreme attention to detail using proven processes and superior materials.
They only use ChromaLuxe metal panels and the latest F-series Epson dye sublimation printers with custom created print profiles which provide the sharpest and widest color gamut in the dye sublimation industry. ChromoLuxe panels have also been proven to last over 65 years. Other labs opt for lower costs by using converted printers and 3rd party inks.
We choose to use a white gloss surface for all of Garrett Jay’s metal prints which creates a smooth glossy finish. The pure white base also gives your artwork a luxurious feel with truly vibrant colors giving the appearance that your print is behind glass without an overwhelming glare.
This labor-intensive process starts with an image being printed on a special transfer paper using specially made dye sublimation inks. The print is then transferred by placing it on top of the aluminum panel which is then applied with a heat press at 400 degrees. This causes the inks to turn into a gas which are absorbed into the polyester coating surface of the aluminum panel. The end result is a beautiful vivid piece of art that almost has a 3D feel to it.
Our acrylic wall art is truly a high-end product that will last a lifetime. We use only the highest quality materials. Crystal clear premium acrylic with built-in UV inhibitors and archival inks and papers ensure your photos will stay gallery-ready.
Well trained human hands and state of the art equipment produce your new stunning artwork. High grade metallic photo paper is adhered and sandwiched between thick premium acrylic and a strong aluminum backing with a French cleat box hanger on the back for easy installation and to “float off the wall”. It also features hand polished edges. The artwork is ¼” thick plus about ½” for the rear mounted box hanger.
Our museum quality stretched canvas prints are hand-crafted over a strong wood stretcher bar frame which makes them warp resistant. The most advanced printing technologies and the highest quality artist grade poly cotton canvas create vibrant colors that will last a lifetime without fading.
Garrett Jay artwork produced on stretched canvas is 1½” thick with black sides which is a more involved production process that provides a more sophisticated look.
They are lightweight, easy to hang and the back is sealed tight with a black dust cover. A solid saw tooth hanger is installed on the back of every canvas wrap to ensure an easy installation.
